Source Engine
Source engine(SE) is what Valve used for their games such as the award winning Half-Life 2. All of the SE powered games are First Person Shooters(FPS) and the player can interact with the environment around him due to the fact that SE uses Havok 2.0 which is a middleware physics engine developed by Irish company Havok. Also SE has some desent polycount limit of roughly 10,000 and a 2048x2048 max texture resolution. Also SE can understand normal maps as well as specularity once and HDR maps - Half-Life 2: Episode Two is a good example.
