Nearing a decade of operation, Frantic Films consists of four separate divisions, each dedicated to delivering superlative service: a VFX Division, offering state-of-the-art visual effects, 3D animation, previsualization and post production; a Live Action Division, creating intelligent, engaging and innovative programming for television and film; a Commercial Production Division, producing world-class commercials for local, national and international markets; and a VFX Software Division, developing breakthrough, next generation visual effects tools.
Headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Frantic has built a truly international industry presence. Our Live Action Division productions have been seen on networks across North America—such as the Discovery Channel, History Television, the Food Network, CTV and Global Television—and in over 40 countries around the world. The VFX Division has created visual effects for Warner Bros., Paramount, 20th Century Fox, ABC Television, Alliance Atlantis and many others. Meanwhile, VFX Division offices in Vancouver, Los Angeles and Sydney, Australia allow for an immediate, local presence in three of the world’s top entertainment production centres.
